The CD-Leycom Inca, developed by CD-Leycom, is an intracardiac monitoring device. Catheters connected to this product measure performance inside the heart. Smidesign came up with a clever way of enabling modularity while keeping mold costs down: a research or veterinary version is physically incompatible with the Inca human version, although the housing parts used for both versions are exactly the same. A project brought to life in co-creation with the Unitron Group.
