COPD Motion Tracker
- Year: 2009
- Client: Unitron / Maastricht Instuments
This matchbox-sized electronic device helps medical professionals to track and improve their patients’ activity level, as active patients respond better to COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) treatment.
The motion tracker is worn with a strap on the upper leg, an optimal place for measuring activity levels.
It was developed by Maastricht University spin-off Maastricht Instruments for Ciro, the center of expertise for chronic organ failure, and is produced by the Unitron Group. Our studio designed the housing.
