Sensotive by Salusion is an innovative product for incontinence care. The system consists of a portable scanner and a disposable sticker-sensor tag that is placed inside incontinence pants. The scanner inconspicuously indicates to the caretaker if the incontinence pants are saturated, ensuring they are changed timely instead of too early or too late.

The contactless scanner avoids unnecessary physical manipulation, substantially improving customer comfort.

Smidesign drew the housing of the scanner and performed the ergonomic and structural verification. The Unitron Group carries out electronics engineering and production.

It won the Herman Wijffels Innovation Award in 2012.
